YES WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING EARLY APPLICATIONS: We just started taking applications for the Vibe Your SaaS Q1 2026 Startup Pitch Event at the AWS Builder Loft in SF. And will begin our big marketing push in January.

If you’re a founder or investor, apply here to attend.

I still have a few sponsorship opportunities. Reply to this email if interested. VYS // IRL is going to be big in 2026, I can feel it.

BTW: Q2 is going to be in partnership with Saastr. We‘re big time now.

Ghostwriting Agency: No One Has to Know

Co-Founder and CEO: Gregory Kennedy
Location: Seattle
Stage: Bootstrapped
Website: Ghostwriting.Agency
Social: N/A

💥 The Big Idea:

Most executives know they should post. Few want to do the work, and even fewer want it to sound like AI slop. Ghostwriting.Agency exists for that gap. You keep the voice, the credit, and the upside. They do the work. Quietly.

🧠 How It Works

This is not prompt engineering cosplay. They learn how you think, what you believe, and how you actually talk. Then they ghostwrite content that reads like you on your best day. Social posts, long form, DMs, newsletters, speeches, and brand copy.

🔥 Why We Like It

Attention is leverage, but most leaders are terrible writers or too busy to be consistent. This solves both problems without turning you into a content robot. The work sounds sharp, opinionated, and unmistakably human.

New Year’s Party Mix is a modern electro, indie dance, and nu disco run built for the countdown. It starts punchy, ramps into peak hour grooves, then finishes with big, bright, hands in the air tracks for the midnight run up and the afterglow.

The Best of VYS from 2025

I kicked this off only nine months ago, with just a cool name, a cooler URL, and a landing page I vibed up on and launched on a Friday afternoon.

And, well, it took off.

After posting about it on social media all weekend, I had 50 sign-ups on the teaser site and closed my first two customers that week. It’s grown steadily ever since.

But rather than brag about all the cool stuff that happened. I thought I would list out my favorite VYS posts from 2025.

Here are my favorite posts from the VYS newsletter this year:

1. Your MVP isn't Viable if Nobody's Buying It

At first, there was pushback on this idea, but with the vibe coding revolution underway, it’s clear that sellable prototypes are the real test, not technically viable.

2. The Founder is The Brand Now (Whether You Like It or Not)

The shift to a social media- and content-first GTM approach for startups means founders need to post and start building an audience from day 1.

3. A Founder's Guide to Marketing Budgeting

This is a common question of founders about GTM leaders, and here I outline how I recommend approaching it by stage.

4. Event Hacking for Startups 🏴‍☠️

IRL events are back, and I think they will be bigger than ever in 2026, as AI slop and rising prices make digital so expensive, IRL will start to look cheap.

5. 10 Growth Hacks I (Maybe) Have Tried

Some of these worked. Some did not. But know this, AI-generated comments are the worst tactic you can engage in. But site scraping? That’s gold.

That’s a Wrap for 2025

If you’ve been reading this newsletter from the start, thank you. If you're new here, reply with all your burning questions, and I will be sure to answer them in 2026.

Happy New Year!

No new show this week, but in 2026, we have a bunch of cool guests lined up, including our good friend Ross Simmonds.

On The Gregory and Paul Show, we break down the latest in startups, SaaS, AI, and whatever the internet is debating this week.

🎙️ Episode 027 – With Special Guest Arjun Dev Arora

Arjun is back for a wide-ranging conversation on founder origin stories, bootstrapping versus raising capital, what 500 Startups got right about portfolio math, the traits that actually predict founder success, and the practical realities of fundraising in 2026. The crew also riffs on space tech and orbital data centers, the Lovable funding headline, self-driving trucks versus labor, and the race for an Anthropic or OpenAI IPO that could unlock a new wave of liquidity across startups.

I'm a former creative director, 3x head of marketing, and founder of Vibe Your SaaS. After 20 years in Silicon Valley, devising new ways to get people to click on things, I now help early-stage B2B SaaS companies scale their businesses through strategic sales and marketing consulting.

Some VYS clients have grown 3x, 5x, 8x, and even 24x while working with me. No, really, one VYS customer grew revenue by an incredible 24x.
